Sivagiri taluk is a taluk of Tirunelveli district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters is the town of Sivagiri.
According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Sivagiri had a population of 177,852 with 87,559 males and 90,293 females. There were 1031 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 65.86. The total number of households was 44,611.
